Durham County Government MWBEvolution Program proudly announces the graduation of its first cohort of entrepreneurial trailblazers. 20 dedicated students successfully completed the rigorous seven-month program.
Graduation takes place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Chambers. Invited guests, community leaders, & media representatives are cordially welcomed to celebrate the achievements of the 2024 graduating class.

MWBEvolution, a partnership between Durham County Government & Interise, is a beacon of opportunity for local entrepreneurs. The program focuses on empowering businesses owned women, minorities, & those in low-wealth communities. As we close out another year(2025), I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible community that supports Greater Outreach Services, LLP. We are now a S-Corp, and our new name is Greater Outreach Services, Inc.

Our team of 40 professionals specializes in Outpatient Therapy through Motivational Interviewing & Trauma-Focused therapy, Comprehensive Clinical Assessments/Multidisciplinary Evaluations/Forensic Evaluations, coping skills, case management, peer support services, adult living skills, and interventions. This also includes our dynamic Leadership team of 10. We are dedicated to supporting those with mental health issues and those in recovery from Substance Use Disorders, providing them with the resources they need in the community. Greater Outreach Services, inc., is a Certified Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). The agency is listed in the Statewide Uniform Certification (SWUC) Program database. As a Black Women Owned business, we're proud to make a difference in our community. has allowed us to achieve remarkable things together, making a tangible difference in the lives of beneficiaries served.
This year, Together, we've achieved remarkable milestones, including another office expansion and relocation. Our new address is 2525 Meridian Parkway Suite LL50 Durham, NC 27713. New services include Community Support Team, and Intensive In-home services . We have navigated through challenges with resilience and innovation. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, funders, partners, and staff who tirelessly work to fulfill our mission.
Looking ahead to the new year, we remain committed to new opportunities to include another contract with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to provide services inside of JDC Detention center in Rockingham. Substance Use disorder licensures to provide services for SAIOP, SACOT, DWI. We also plan to start back with PSR. Our third phase of expansion will also include Primary Care for our beneficiaries and training center for our staff and other organizations to include peer support certification, First Aid/CPR, NCI/BBP, and service definitions. Your continued support will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to grow and serve our community effectively.
